the villa was demolished by earthquakes barbarian invasions.
lots of the rocks and were used by the locals to rebuild their houses.




infact all we got now is the ground floor, the other 2 floors are lost.




not as big as Pompei, but still an impressive and panoramic archeo site.




it must have been a fantastic place since the villa was surrounded from north, east, and west
by the lake's shores
