Budapest

Budapest : considered by many the Paris of the Danube

indeed it's a beautiful city, the heart of the Mitteleuropa

left side of the Danube : Pest

right side : Buda

the famous Little Princess, a useless bronze sculpture which now
seems to have become the symbol of Budapest

they say it's a sculpture representing joy and faith in the future, now it's used in every
tourist guide as a city symbol, honestly it's a shit compared to real masterpieces of art hosted you can find here
but they needed something fresh to show that times were changing i suppose ?

a curious boat on the Danube

the majestic Hungarian Parlament

Buda : gothic churches ...

and nice palazzi

the center of Buda offers a lot for the lovers of
neo-classical architecture

and everything looks well preserved and well maintened,
moreover as far i know the city hasn't been heavily damaged
by the many wars on the last three centuries so it
still preserves a lot of monuments and the original charm.

another statue representing something but i still don't know exactly
what they mean : poorness ? happyness ? the author trying to pay his bills ?
we'll never know, in the meantime there are much better things to see than these
trashy modern "art" creations.

beautiful bridges along the Danube giving the city a typical imperial outlook
